Facebook. I don't know how, I don't know when, and I don't know why. But somehow I created an account. A facebook account. Normally creating an account to something doesn't change your world. But a facebook account does. Daily I get emails. Dozens of people wanting me to be thier friend and a gazillion messages I haven't read and photos to see. They want me. The people want me. But the truth is, it was all an accident. This accident has brought me great popularity, yes. But it is not my favorite mistake. I don't know how to use facebook. I don't want to. I blog. And not terribly often. I don't have the time to keep up with so many friends. Forgive me if you are one of the people wishing to be my facebook friend. I don't know how to reject you. But consider yourself rejected.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure I must have told you my facebook story. If not, remind me and I will. It's a most embarrassing story. I also ended up with a facebook account, which I do not use, and still receive daily emails from people wanting to be my friend. Good luck with the deleting!

I finally gave into facebook a couple months ago, because I kept asking Jake how all my friends were doing (since he was "friends" with them:) ) it is VERY addicting, and for that my blog has been slacking! If you do give in you can be my friend on facebook and blog world!
ReplyDeleteI have to confess that while I have a facebook account, and while there are a few things I like about it mostly I HATE it (yes that is in all caps). Not quite sure why I loathe it so much, but I do.

i think facebook is dumb. the end. love that so many people want to be your friend. you're so popular.
